Femoral neck stress #s /injuries are high risk injuries and the outcome depends on early diagnosis. Working as FCPs and in community MSK clinics one does come across runners presenting with anterior hip pain. Here’s a slide with some useful information on it #bonestressinjuries

Sleep and Nutrition should be given enough priority when managing runners. They affect energy availability and if this runs low it could influence endocrine function which in turn has various detrimental effects of bone turnover, ability to recover from an exercise session, etc.

Gait retraining measures e.g. increasing cadence for Patellofemoral pain can be useful in runners. How about increasing duty factor (DF = stance to flight time ratio)? Here’s some information on it. It has however only been tested on symptomfree population so far!
