Looking for your thoughts and experiences please on the different types of EV cable trunking that sits inside and across the pavements. I know there are good examples and very poor ones across the country, so as usual I would really welcome your expertise and honest opinions.

Someone on my cruise had forgotten their daughter’s sunflower lanyard so I suggested they pop over to M&S in Southampton to get one which is why they told me their experience. I emphasised to her that services have to meet her daughter’s needs anyway, lanyard or no lanyard ☺️

So accessible housing and Part M Building Regs -what’s the point? A developer across from me built a house with a step -the Approved Building Inspector said they needed a ramp. They did a really shoddy ramp just to get approval and a few days later removed it😱Others do this too

There is an absolute havoc at Abbey Wood because no screen is working and no announcements. And then the driver closed the doors on us but I screamed the driver reopened the door. @Se_Railway I know the screens are not yours and the havoc not your fault but it’s the second time

Feeling a bit deflated after the assisted dying debate, but this has cheered me up - over the years as a disabled parent and now a nan it’s been a nightmare finding accessible Santas. But just booked a trip on a Santa train and they have an accessible carriage @AmertonRailway

I remember being invited to @Fortnums after London 2012 and it was such a special experience. What a shame to see they’ve taken a step further back from equity rather than continuing to be front runners. We own a piece of the Eiffel Tower too, our medals are just as special!

And the notes of the meeting are full of inaccuracies and are not about the true facts of my case. What a shambles. When I sit on Boards I fight for disabled people’s rights like I know many of you my followers do too ❤️

When @networkrail ask disabled people to sit on their GBRTT National Rail Accessibility Advisory Group you’d expect them to support disabled people with their access complaints. Not so, despite the Chair having an MBE for access?? @Doug_Paulley @Christiane 😢

I’m a wheelchair user in Paris for the #Paralympics2024 opening ceremony. The wheelchair viewing platform is entirely taken up by non-wheelchair users. “Welcome to Paris!” 🫠

@WeAreOpenreach so your contractors @WorldwideCass go on our property without asking, damage our fence and hedging and just leave it until we discovered it. Admitted it and eventually they tried to repair it after numerous chatbots, messages and yet told no compensation 🤔

@MikScarlet @annwebster21 @KatiePennick It’s scandalous. Riding roughshod over the PSED & a miserable 21 days for the (sham) consultation. It’s a very tight timescale to mobilise the disabled community in opposition. My head is spinning from racing from one fight on removal of our rights, to the next ❗️

@Christie3B It should say Blue Badge Holders Only or Blue Badge Parking as that is what it is. Not stumbling around stabbing at euphemisms for disabled, which is the accepted term within the disabled community..
