I didn't initially get why Tracey is so into this topic, but I've talked to several normies lately who think that the Iran war is just a distraction from the Epstein files, and I think I get it. Politics has entered into a zone of almost pure hallucination. We are all QAnon now.
There is one belief that currently unifies everyone from Bill Maher, to Joe Rogan, to AOC, to Elon Musk, to CNN, to Candace Owens, to the Democratic Party, to Netflix, to TMZ, to the British Parliament, to the United Nations, to the Iranian government, to the right-wing podcast

the key point is that we’re currently in a golden window where LLMs are asymmetric weapons: they are more effective tools for the defenders than the attackers there is no reason to believe this will last, and we should harden all software as much as possible before that changes
We partnered with Mozilla to test Claude's ability to find security vulnerabilities in Firefox. Opus 4.6 found 22 vulnerabilities in just two weeks. Of these, 14 were high-severity, representing a fifth of all high-severity bugs Mozilla remediated in 2025.

AI company leaders have spent the last couple of years saying "we are building a god that will take your jobs and also it could kill you". what the fuck did we expect?
BREAKING: New York bill would ban AI from answering questions related to medicine, law, dentistry, nursing, psychology, social work, engineering, & more.

California parole told officers to stop tracking a felon with 91 prior felonies. Weeks later he killed Hanako Abe and Elizabeth Platt. Now there's a civil rights lawsuit naming the officials who gave that order. https://t.co/52fTZ5mJNA

@micsolana it's not just Arabs and Pakistanis. the 300 million Malay-speaking Muslims of Malaysia & Indonesia lack a domestic entertainment industry so they look toward the West and East Asia (kpop/anime) for entertainment. many of them have anime accounts so they're basically groypers lol

It has been incredible watching Al Jazeera, which is essentially run by Qatar, not only directly dismiss Tucker Carlson's invented conspiracy about Mossad bombers, but also report on the arrest of IRGC sleeper cells. All while Tucker was trying to sell his audience on the idea

“How does it work” Most theories focus on conventional stuff like “wounding improves bloodflow and induces collagen remodeling” But there are some weird ones about how it’s related to hacking bioelectric signals to kickstart healing without substantial tissue damage

@Teknium It’s theory of mind imo Which I consider a subset of communication skills Theory of mind lets you understand why the model might succeed at some things while it regularly fucks others up etc I don’t consider this to be an esoteric skill though because a smart empathetic person

I had two Claude Codes find a way to communicate with each other and just do something interesting. They voted on coding up and playing battleship and used cryptographic verification to not cheat. Incredible

Powerful new Harvard Business Review study. "AI does not reduce work. It intensifies it. " A 8-month field study at a US tech company with about 200 employees found that AI use did not shrink work, it intensified it, and made employees busier. Task expansion happened because

The original “Epstein survivor.” Mentally ill woman whose lies upended our politics. Wonder if we’d have Stephen Miller today if she didn’t exist.

Thomas Massie is innovating a fascinating new slant on libertarian philosophy by constantly running around accusing private individuals of heinous crimes, demanding their arrest, pre-supposing their guilt, and calling on the government to disregard basic notions of due process

"Every male I don't like politically must be some kind of hideous sex criminal" became the default presupposition at some point in the past decade or so, and seems to have spiraled a bit out of control

@extradeadjcb Isnt it a bit naive and ahistorical that power would be used to pull up the have nots? Imagining a world where the haves have no use for the have nots (assuming they retain control of their creation, ofc).

@Citrini7 ELI5 (super short): AI gets so good that companies fire lots of high-paid workers and replace them with cheap AI. Fired workers spend less money → businesses make less → they use even more AI → more jobs disappear. Stock market, loans, mortgages, and banks start breaking
