Reflecting on this, how should one deal with "looping"? Yes, changing the setting e.g., with perfume or new music is one approach, but accepting the loop with compassion is another, like how defense mechanisms more generally can be nicely met and understood with compassion.

Thank you :) I remember making this slide. Mixed feelings about this attempted synopsis, but hedged enough that I still stand/sit by it. Although taking a page from IIT folk, I've started using the word "conscious access" instead of "access consciousness."
