I’m blind and Someone stood on my cane, broke it, and walked off! So grateful for the wonderful people @TheO2 who were so supportive! They even did some handiwork by adding some splints to the cane and taped it up so I could still use it :)

Great quality food @goustoCooking But parts of your app are broken for blind screenReader users. E.g. can’t get passed step 2 in the cooking process! The app keeps jumping me back to step 1. There's only so many times I can dice the same onion! #DigitalAccessibility

The Accessible Transport Survey is for deaf and disabled people in England, and the data gathered will help shape Transport for All's campaigns for a more accessible future. That's a survey we can get on board with! 😃 Closes Friday 21 October.
Today we are launching our Accessible Transport Survey! This is a chance for all Deaf and disabled people in England to share experiences with transport and streets and the barriers they face, and to shape the direction of our campaigns as we fight for a more accessible future.

A big Thank you to the team at :ONS who made the online census! As a blind person I found it very easy to complete using my screen reader! So easy that I helped my elderly neighbour who struggles with tech complete hers! #inclusiveDesign #a11y

They have found a cure for blindness according to this video. I will need to take their word for it as I can’t actually tell as the video is not accessible to people who are blind! The suspense is killing me

Powerful talk @access_adi “impairment doesn’t make someone disabled, a large factor of disability is when their needs are not being met”. Digital options help meet communication needs but must be accessible - “bad digital design disables people” @thecsp @EMAHPInfo #DHRewired20

Top customer service by Theresa @britishAirways In Gatwick Airport. She got me on the next flight after I missed my flight due to Communication breakdown between St Pancras station and Gatwick station regarding my special assistance. Admittedly I was cutting it fine:)
