Cosimo and I wrote a paper on how to “do things with syntax” in neuroscience https://t.co/ajjQ1WuMGN Just out now. If you are properly interested in language and neuroscience, have a look.

💬🧠💪 Moving your arms can change how you sound! Arm muscles affect lung volume, boosting loudness and intensity. Body and voice are deeply linked—with potential impact on speech therapy and robotics. 👉 https://t.co/ZDwvmSr5in

Same. That is - also - why I am back testing myself. It is a skill that needs to be honed otherwise how am I to know what it means (how long it takes) to collect data, given the CURRENT lab conditions, and project that knowledge as a supervisor? Never leave the lab for too long.
As a PI, most of my lab skills have deteriorated. I barely know how to do anything in the lab, but I'm pretty good at multi-factor authentication, paperwork, electronic signatures... I also tell myself that I'm good at thinking about the big picture, whatever that means.

Now out in @TrendsNeuro: We discuss how the contents of visual perception, imagery, and prediction can be decoded from rhythmic brain activity and argue that such rhythmic representations offer new insights into neural information propagation. @RicoStecher

Academics are taught how to conduct research ethically and are under an incredible amount of scrutiny from independent ethical boards. Such stringent rules owe to be applied to tech companies, not through their own "internal boards". Please, revise! https://t.co/kJZe6yER5q

This paper develops various ideas on the role of oscillatory dynamics in predictive processing, and the complementary role that transient dynamics play in sensory inference - several implications for theories of sensory inference like hierarchical pred. coding and alternatives
Happy to share our Opinion piece @TrendsCognSci "Large-scale interactions in predictive processing: oscillatory versus transient dynamics" with @martin_a_vinck, @uran_cem, Jarrod Dowdall & Brian Rummell. Check our thread below 🧵👇
