I've just found out that several of the anomalous GPT tokens ("TheNitromeFan", " SolidGoldMagikarp", " davidjl", " Smartstocks", " RandomRedditorWithNo", ) are handles of people who are (competitively? collaboratively?) counting to infinity on a Reddit forum. I kid you not.

Did a melancholy solo art retreat in Royal Leamington Spa once for a week. Was great, and got so many paintings painted.
I am very serious about a series of weekend writing retreats where I go to weird, melancholy towns, stay in a premier inn out of season, have massive breakfasts then spend the morning writing and the afternoon lording it in charity shops and local museums

Dreamt that ‘VidGPT’ could do next-frame-of-video prediction when prompted with a short starter clip. But when you uploaded live video of the present moment at a slow enough frame rate, you could use it to see the future, and then everyone went insane. 🔮

Are there any energy estimates for 1 image generated via @midjourney / Dall-E etc?
A dirty secret of "AI Art" is that for every generated image significant energy was used, as GPUs are electricity hungry. If we imagine a relationship between "Electrical energy used to create an art piece" & "Value of an art piece", the trend over the past 100y is wild...

Can confirm. In my homeschooling meetups there was a girl always in moss-green crushed-velvet dresses with medievally-braided hair, who had a sore on her back that never healed, like some fairytale curse or Dickensian misfortune.
The experience of being homeschooled is completely encapsulated by the time I went to a book club for homeschooled teens and there was a girl there dressed in a crushed velvet revolutionary war uniform who introduced herself by saying "I fancy myself a bit of a libertine"
