Modern education is creating people who are smart enough to accurately repeat what they are told and follow the orders. And dumb enough to think this makes them smarter than everyone else.

40,000 days per year🤯. It blew my mind when @__Manreet__ dropped this stat on me years ago. Just think of all the good that could be done in the time saved with securely reusable digital identity! This is why @truu_id is pioneering digital staff passports for health workers.

Thank you @rileyphughes for the opportunity to share our experiences. It was real pleasure to reflect and talk about our work.
Manny's experience as a builder and user of an ID wallet product is unparalleled This is a rare glimpse onto the front lines of one of the largest production verifiable credentials rollouts to date, what was learned, and what @__Manreet__ is doing about it Give it a listen 😊

I get DMs, messages & calls everyday about #racism in the #NHS. If you think it doesn’t exist then you are part of the problem. It’s everywhere & it’s rife in @NHSEngland. Most of the time it doesn’t get addressed because those suffering know that it’s usually career suicide

Lots of talk about how the #NHS should be re-organised. Nothing about how that will impact the wellbeing of the workforce. The NHS is the people who deliver the care & after Covid they’re in pretty poor shape. If you don’t recover them you’ll never be able to recover the service.

Prof Van Tam gave a talk to our British Thoracic Society. I’ve never seen a standing ovation at conference like it, with many openly tearful. It was profoundly moving for the respiratory community after last 3 years to be seen & thanked. Lots of unprocessed trauma still.

Meanwhile on the front line in this trust’s hospitals we had to get changed in the toilets before doing a 12 hour shift, and if you were lucky there were some cold chips you could buy for £3 in the canteen 🙃 thanks team! Great allocation of resources!

Employers shouldn't discourage side hustles—or hesitate to hire people who have them. Data: after engaging evenings on their side gigs, people perform better the next day in their full-time jobs. Side hustles aren’t a distraction. They’re a source of energy and empowerment.

Friendly reminder that when people copy your startups product it just means you’re leading not following so say thank you and keep leading.

Experience is not required to build a startup or to be an entrepreneur but constantly learning and improving is.

I’m far more bullish on bootstrapped startups than venture backed. The long tail of entrepreneurship is real.

Rebecca spent hours after the cancelled Mercury Awards fighting EVERYONE she had to, to make sure all the food that was prepared for the gala was not just thrown away, but distributed to homeless people. These are the kind of pop stars we need. 🙌❤️ @SELFESTEEM___ @guardian @NME
