It’s about having the option. For whatever reason it is (because a woman wants to focus on career / because she hasn’t found a partner / maybe because she’s simply “figuring things out”). It’s about having the option to delay having children if she would like to do so.
Or, rather than rely on imperfect technology and set up the expectation that women pursuing a career delay initiating childbearing until their late 30s (!), we can push to make jobs less “greedy” and change the nature of the partner, tenure, and medical residency path.

I absolutely love that more biotech founders want to build companies that people can be excited about. I mean, people are excited about rockets, AI, etc, but where are the frontier biotechs that inspire ppl ?.
The science behind developing new drugs *should* be exciting & cool to the public (on par w/ deep tech + space co's IMO) but Pharma gets a bad rep . Partly bc it's bundled w/ flaws of US healthcare system and partly bc human health is inherently the highest stakes transaction of.
