EV Inventory Update 10/25 Inventories leveled off and slowly crept up after end of quarter, but nothing dramatic. Most of the increase was the Equinox EV. I am not sure what is up the last day, I will check that next update. Ignore est sales, I haven't fixed the calculation.

Anyone who goes all in financially with a company, can no longer be trusted to provide unbiased info on that company. It is a gamble, so they put blinders on and only tell themselves and others info reaffirming their decision. It might pay off, and it might not. Watch out.

Exactly, dealers should be helping buyers understand how well EVs work, even in rural areas where home ownership is very high (and availability of home charging). Try to get multiple vehicle families to buy one. I suspect most go all EV in the future, they are that good.

An update regarding the IIHS manufacturing date disclaimer for the Cybertruck crash safety.
@VoltPilotDan @cybertruck We made a minor change on the casting for manufacturability in April. Our Internal testing shows no difference in crash result but IIHS only officially tested the latest version

Hot take, the Ford Lightning was never a successful EV and the Mach-E isn't either. Ford Universal Platform is where it is at. The others only made sense in the market with tax and ZEV credits. I think the fire in the aluminum plant resulted in an earlier decision.

Tesla really missed an opportunity with the cab. Why does it look like a car at all? It should have higher more lounger like seats that are easy to get in and out for all people.
The production version of the Tesla Cybercab appears to have gained even more legroom than the prototype. It looks to me that the seats have been pushed back a few inches. Wow! It already had a massive amount of legroom, and now it's even bigger.

Unsurprising that Tesla is also failing in this category. Unless we have like $25/kWh cost cells large pickups that can tow long distance aren't really feasible. EREV is a solution even if you don't like it.

I just ran the battery health test on my 2024 Model Y Performance 🚙 Result: 85% battery health. 🪫 Absolutely brutal degradation for just 31,000 miles and 18 months of ownership. Would you consider this acceptable?

Supercharging in a lot blocked by snow plow drifts is so much better...
You’ll NEVER miss pumping gas in sub-zero conditions during a snow storm. Electric vehicles make your life way easier. Every morning you get to wake up with a full charge.

Surprisingly, this got 22 mpg at 75-80 mph over 700 miles, but it only has a 23 gallon gas tank 💀 range is not much better than an Escalade IQ EV.
Work rental. This thing is huge. I am going to miss my EV this week... This thing moves quick, but amazing how relatively slow it feels vs almost any EV. It does have 400 hp, but just the delay before you get power.

First workout done with the garmin, 20 min at 12⁰ incline at walking speed. The watch still shows 20 days battery life. I haven't been in the sun much at all so not much solar charging.
