Milton Friedman once said, you could have the safest car in the world, but if no one can afford it - whatās the point? If we have the cleanest but most expensive electricity in the world, weāll be poorer, people wonāt want electric cars/heating - whatās the point?
An absolute must watch. Energy bosses have just told Parliament that EVEN IF gas prices halved by 2030, the soaring policy costs of renewables would mean bills go UP. Ed Milibandās plan means more grid, more expensive renewable subsidies, more paying wind farms to turn off.

I do love when they say that the cars aren't free because the cost is deducted from their PIP. Also, if you require a power chair, you aren't the person people are in a furore about and are a genuine recipient.
@Steven_Swinford @Smyth_Chris Steve, no car on the scheme is free, this is disinformation, they're leased and the monthly cost is deducted from PIP. I use the scheam to lease a powerchair at Ā£240 a month. I don't keep the vehicle, it goes back to my local dealer after 3 years. It's also not government run.
