Last I checked, it was STILL advertised as a survival MMO on Steam, the same thing they pushed with the early trailers. But it has next to no Survival elements, and isn't an MMO - it's an extraction shooter.

If we're talking Dark Souls, it's because the game punishes mistakes instantly and without any kind of warning. Boss fights require near perfect action to succeed. The damage you recieve is massive. The mechanics are easy to understand, that isn't what equates a hard game.

Finally got around to watching the new Black Panther movie and man, what a set of acting performances it is. It doesn't rely on big action or set pieces, simply actors and characters carrying every scene.
In particular, Shuri, Namor, and Rahmonda are just excellent.

Yet people watch him play random games because he's fucking funny.
It feels like gaming as a whole has stopped growing. Like we hit a wall or a peak or people got it all out of their system with the pandemic and what not.
I don't know any gaming YTers that are really growing rn. Everything is stagnant and I don't see how it picks back up.

Even though it came out five years ago, it essentially hasn't aged in most respects. Bar the frame rate restrictions and Rockstar's signature wonky third person shooting, it's pretty timeless
