Maybe it's just me, but I was psyched by the open world tease for Metroid Prime 4. I am, admittedly, a sucker for this format. (Uncharted: Lost Legacy is my favorite in that series!) The "Metroid" formula is everywhere in games, 2D and 3D. Happy for Prime to try something else.

Shinobi: Art of Vengeance credits roll. Every level at 100%. Deeply satisfied. Probably the best combat I’ve played in a game this year. What a game.

Last month, I used the Louvre's (now retired) 3DS audioguide. It was *so* cool and I almost fucked it up because I promised my 9yo we'd tour the museum this way and, upon arrival, learned every 3DS was sold out. My distressing story for @crossplayblog:
