For music some execs (but not all) still think games are in third class, below film & TV. They haven’t noticed that we have way bigger budgets, record way more (29 days of orch on Jedi: Survivor) and the under 30 market cares vastly more about game music than film scores now
Having pitched to movie folks, they really think making games is so much simpler than making movies. I had a studio head say to me "It's just people on computers right?" The economics are probably better in games though if you know what you're doing. It's still hard.
