Fuck this. Ubisoft's problems are entirely self-inflicted by upper management alone. They have thousands of talented employees and squander that by forcing them to chase trends and run franchises into the ground. The answer isn't 'workers work harder' - it's new leadership.
After a terrible 2022, Ubisoft's Yves Guillemot tells staff the next year is crucial, telling them in an email that "the ball is in your court" to deliver ontime/onbudget.

Finished Cyberpunk Edgerunners. Man, what a show. Genuinely believe it was a better Cyberpunk experience than the game itself (and I loved the game). The visuals, characters, writing and music are all top notch. Can't recommend this more highly. Check it out asap.

Seven years ago today, Destiny launched on PS3/4 and Xbox 360/One. It ran at (barely) 30fps, had (basically) no story, and its endgame consisted of shooting into a cave.
Today, the game is slightly better.
