Last seen in the 1860s, our project to return Water Germander to Yorkshire, is showing early success with over 400 plants germinating this year! Thanks to our partners @NosterfieldLNR @whiterosegreen @KingFishers_B and funding from @NaturalEngland's Species Recovery Programme.

A great start to the week with some fern and sedge ID at @YorksWildlife Askham Bog with the fabulous Alastair Fitter. Some really rare plants seen, inc Crested Buckler Fern, Slender and Pale Sedge. Also, three lovely Lunar Hornet Clearwings came to the pheromone lure.
