We have completed the restoration of a pond a ditch system on the edge of the Cam washes. The pond had not been cleared for several decades and was full of silt with no open water. We have reinstated the pond and ditch out to the River, as ideal fish nursery habitat.

The Meadows are well flooded at Kingfishers Bridge this winter, with more rain on the way which should help with the recovery of the local groundwater.

The new bird hide has been craned into position on the mound this morning. The lift went fantastically well and we're now busy landscaping and laying the power cable ready for connection at the end of the week.

A successful day removing the two old hides from the mound and starting to level the new area for the replacement hide. Stunning views from the mound despite the windy conditions.
