Heather Stronach was killed on her bike 9 days ago at the Harry Lauder Junction less than half a mile from my front door. This dropped through the door tonight. An “expensive new cycle lane” might just have saved her life. Potholes. 🤦‍♂️

Coroner "forgets" to send a Prevention of Future Death report to @HighwaysWMIDS and an eight year old is subsequently killed on the same spot. But this is England, where authorities get away with murder. @BCCletts https://t.co/rctbNjLeXK

Tony Blair was still Prime Minister the last time a passenger died as a result of a train accident on the British rail network. Since then over 23,000 people have died on the roads.

Cycling over the Amsterdam Rhine canal via the Nigtevecht bridge at X2 the speed. An outstanding piece of architecture and a great view from the top

What the actual fuck is this @channel5_tv? This is unbelievably irresponsible of you. Fuelling this sort of hatred against cyclists only serves to ensure more motorists will put our lives in danger. @theJeremyVine @Chris_Boardman @UKCycleChat @StopKillingCycl

“You don’t need a Land Rover to drive the A9, so you shouldn’t need to be covered in mud on a mountain bike with knobbly tyres to use the National Cycle Network.”

Really good that @Chris_Boardman and @bricycle are testing the DfT on zebras. Painted zebras across side roads at junctions with main roads would massively improve the experience of walking along a main road and enforce rule 170 of the Highway Code. My favourite rule.

There is only one car in the entire length of this clip. Dutch ‘cycle streets’ are attractive to cycle on because of these typically low levels of motor traffic
