It has been a childlike dream to do something for our country which has given us so much. As part of this project recently revealed at #GoogleForIndia , we are able to generate a holistic understanding of Indiaβs agricultural landscape using only satellite imagery.

Amazing auto parking comparison between Audi, BMW, Ford and Tesla. Tesla falling miserably at it! The BMW is definitely the most confident and quiet. While Audi is quick and perfect at it! https://t.co/79iclG9Ln3

The deepest unintuitive disconnect w.r.t. psychology of ChatGPT is that it doesn't get "time to think". It has a small, fixed amount of thought for each output token. A bit like human forced to speak very fast. Asking them to produce more text is giving them more time to think.
I have been seeing takes claiming that ChatGPT "totally fails the cognitive reflection test" such as the "ball and bat problem". Tldr: I tried and it gets it right on the first pass, no cherry picking. You just need to tell it to think about it step by step

Removing all the tedious middle process and predicting angles directly from image is soo amazing!
After 3yrs of locomotion research, we report a major update in our #CoRL2022 (Oral) paper: vision-based locomotion. Our small, safe, low-cost robot can walk almost any terrain: high stairs, stepping stones, gaps, rocks. Stair for this robot is like climbing walls for humans.

Very inspiring talk from @realmarcraibert about the culture in robotics! The trial and errors, very hard problems to solve but definitely worth seeing the robots work out there!
