Met with DCM Shri @DKShivakumar today to discuss alternatives to the Tunnel Road Project. Expressed our opposition to the project, as it is not a sustainable solution and would not effectively address Bengaluru’s traffic congestion. An 18 km car-centric road is an impractical

This invitation from history of Jayanagara’s inauguration in 1948 is a reminder of how Bengaluru went from Jayanagar’s planned blueprint to today’s maddening chaos. The invitation reveals the seriousness with which our leaders once approached city-building. It wasn’t merely an

India’s medical tourism is such an under-exploited goldmine. Wife’s surgery was quoted at $30,000 in Singapore - cost $2,000 in India, in a good hospital. The problem is the ecosystem- travel, logistics, safety concerns. Fix it and India could become the ‘global healing hub.’

The fastest way of upgrading the look of Indian cities is to just fix the pavements! Broken verges, dirt and garbage on the side of the roads is a major reason why Indian cities look worse than their counterparts abroad. Also contributes to air pollution.

The Tale of Two Bridges Bridges are an important part of many cities. You build them well; they are a lifesaver. Build them badly, and you curse them for years. Whether you like it or not, bridges are very critical in the complicated maze that is the urban commute system.
