For a long period of time, Bangladesh was close to India, and its growth rates and prosperity levels were rising fast. It was becoming a South Asian success story. Now it appears that segments of the Bangladeshi population want to be more like Pakistan. It will be sad, not

Bangladesh is sliding into open lawlessness. Regime-backed militants have torched newspaper offices, stormed Indian diplomatic missions or residences, and lynched a Hindu minority youth by tying him to a tree and burning him alive. As mobs rule the streets, the interim regime

@vikramchandra @ChinaSpox_India Every industrial unit abroad has mandatory OCEMS installed which records pollutants released. This data is published. To see which units are in violation of not treating their release. Air pollution control equipment (variety of scrubbers) is fairly inexpensive.

This is another helpful suggestion from @ChinaSpox_India from the Beijing example. Do note that while Delhi’s own thermal power plants have been shut down, Jhajjar in Haryana has 2 coal based thermal plants. As a result the district of Jhajjar alone was contributing a whopping
How does Beijing tackle air pollution? 🌫➡🌱 Step 3: Coal Reduction 🔹 Coal combustion was once a major source of Beijing's air pollution. To address this, the city launched a targeted transition: ➡️Shift over 1 million rural households and all urban areas from coal heating

@vikramchandra Great Initiative ! Acknowledge that a large number of old ICE 2W contribute immensely to air pollution. Incentivize them to move to EV. The government has large unutilised pollution funds.

@vikramchandra Great initiative ! Clear all road encroachments immediately including e-ricks/autos at metros, etc Train DTC drivers to stop at the bus stop in a line, not in the middle of the road. Engage CRRI for traffic & road engg. for all traffic congestion points + Gurgaon expressway
