Congrats to @srikanthatcache and the @usecache team! I severely underestimated how fast this would grow despite being aware of the benefits of an exchange fund and the lack of good offerings. $1b+ aum in <2yrs is incredible. Esp w/ the complexity of an exchange fund.
“It can’t be done. Too many have tried and failed.” “Dead on arrival. I haven’t used one in decades.” “You’re starting a what?” “Are there even a hundred people who have a ‘concentrated portfolio’?” This is what I heard from the largest wealth managers and RIAs in the country

Many ultra-wealthy Americans are philanthropically inclined, do not want a large foundation staff, do want to give while living, and haven't been inspired by existing nonprofits. This American version of “GiveDirectly” could be an ideal solution.

Claude Code and Codex are incredible. Very underrated for non coding use cases. Claude Code is more user friendly and feels like a polished product. Codex has incredible reasoning.

Better, faster, cheaper.
A year ago, we verified a preview of an unreleased version of @OpenAI o3 (High) that scored 88% on ARC-AGI-1 at est. $4.5k/task Today, we’ve verified a new GPT-5.2 Pro (X-High) SOTA score of 90.5% at $11.64/task This represents a ~390X efficiency improvement in one year

This Nex Playground story by @bzcohen is great. The irony of Xbox being surpassed by Kinect like mini console. Like others, I had no clue this existed until Black Friday. “That week, this previously unknown system ranked third overall in U.S. hardware unit sales, ahead of Xbox

Legacy turbines leverage jet engines optimized for burst power at takeoff, partial power at -50°F at 30,000ft. Even with lots of cooling water, they lose 20-30% of power when it's warm outside. Our engine is designed for 160°F at Mach 1.7... so we can run full power waterless.

This is interesting. Boom’s 2nd product is a gas turbine for data centers w/ $1b+ backlog. Power is the biggest bottleneck for the data center build out. All sources of power generation are in high demand and sold out.
Introducing Superpower, a natural gas turbine by Boom that delivers reliable energy to AI data centers while accelerating the return of supersonic passenger travel.

$6.25 billion. 25 million children. $250 each. Susan and I believe the smartest investment we can make is in children. That’s why we’re so excited to contribute $6.25 billion from our charitable funds to help 25 million children start building a strong financial foundation

Some real @sfgov policies re: drugs: > cash stipend that can be used on drugs > free drug paraphernalia > free alcohol > you can use in shelters > you can use in @SFMTA_Muni stations > sanctuary protections for drug traffickers What did they think was going to happen exactly?
A growing portion of San Francisco’s homeless population is not from the city and more people are reporting the primary reason they became unhoused was alcohol or drug use, according to new city data obtained by the Chronicle.

There is a severe and malicious irony in Jackie Fielder using her public platform to demonize Waymo. It ran over a cat. To Fielder, this is enough to call for sweeping regulation. But when homeless lifelong felon, Troy McAlister, used a stolen car to run over and kill

So sad to lose a sweet pet. The reaction to this - holding a rally - is confusing, since .@JackieFielder_ hasn't said a word about the 1000s of humans killed by the fentanyl on our streets. Where's the rally to demand the end of open air drug dealing? https://t.co/10Yl80D7xz

This is unsustainable. You can't have the cost of energy go up 34% in California, while it is falling in neighboring states, and hope to stay economically competitive in the future. https://t.co/RfFe151qAE

Not all states have gotten hit equally hard. The reasons are complex.
