A new report from our lab @jcobb_cobb @UVicBCMB shows that the transiently formed RNA:DNA hybrids at DNA double-strand breaks regulate end resection and promote EJ. Dna2 nuclease removes these hybrids and enables resection at DSB. @biorxivpreprint
