Better Lifeact tool for visualizing actin cytoskeleton. So glad that yeast is again leading the charge. Last time it is our #fissionyeast @PomBase showing how too much of Lifeact actin probe is interfering with #cytokinesis.
From MBoC.Improved tools for live imaging of F-actin structures in yeast. Enhanced Lifeact probe drastically increases detection of F-actin in vivo at low expression levels, without altering cellular actin dynamics or organization @BruceLaneGoode.
