Whenever I despair over humanity, I remember that we also created libraries. Libraries are the heart of the community. There everyone should be able to find themselves in a book & know that their own stories matter, & that they are not alone in whatever they are going through.

This is quite remarkable. After winter storms in January last year, we found the remains of an old teddy bear washed up. When we shared a picture online, Anglican priest @CassWoollibold asked if she could restore him. A thread.

Answered after an eternity to be told I couldn't deal with you on his behalf (understand that) but that the call back would be. after 19 Dec as there's a backlog 🤦♀️ I was calling as he can't hear. He won't be able to hear you after Dec 19 either and I'll no longer be here.
