The cruelty and harm caused by this has broken all faith and trust in the social contract between citizens that needed protection and a duty of care from their Government. But they were sacrificed because no Tory Government would dream of going against their jewel in the crown
Any other council in the country would have been put into special measures and central government should have taken direct control of the estate and out the survivors and bereaved right at the top of their list to help, but no they left the criminals in charge to hush it up.
