Today marks 82 months since we lost 72 loved ones. The 15th April marks 35 years since Hillsborough, and the 16th April marks 10 years since the Sewol Ferry tragedy. We pay tribute to all those families affected who show us support but are still looking for answers themselves💚
72 months since 72 people died. A month for every life lost.
Six years, and not a single person has been held to account.
Join us at the silent walk. Stand in solidarity against our two tiered justice system.
Those responsible must be held accountable.
#72months72lives
The Leader of the House of Commons suggesting that the 72 people who lost their lives at Grenfell lacked common sense is beyond disrespectful. It is extremely painful and insulting to bereaved families.
Outraged that Government & our very own MP
@FelicityBuchan
voted against amendment to implement
#Grenfell
recommendations. Its no surprise as the Gov continue to fail the country - almost a year since the recomendations & so little has been done. 1000s still in dangerous homes.
1 year ago at 00:54 a fire started at Grenfell Tower.
72 lives were lost because of that fire and our live were changed forever
Forever in our Hearts 💚
Tonight the tower is lit with 72 beams. A beam for every life lost, 72 months since the fire.
Forever in our hearts.
We will never stop fighting💚

“Ultimately it comes down to the nameless 96 people who were killed in the 'Grenbell' fire.” - Eric Pickles
We are speechless. How dare he refer to our loved ones we lost that night as ‘the 96 nameless’.
72 people died in
#Grenfell
& none of them were nameless.
Lord Pickles tells Grenfell Tower fire inquiry he has "an extremely busy day" as he urges chairman to "use your time wisely"
After a break in proceedings the former minister, who is giving evidence, apologises if he "seemed discourteous"

Join us at 4pm for the multi-faith memorial service at Grenfell Tower. Walk with us at 6:30pm from the Nottinghill Methodist Church.
Today & always we remember our 72. Carry you always💚
For 5 years we’ve had to endure a justice system that protects the powerful.
A system that prevents justice.
Whilst this system exists, we face the same unachievable battle as the many before us. From Aberfan, to Hillsborough, justice has been denied &
#Grenfell
is no different
80 months ago today, 72 loved ones were taken from us during the Grenfell fire and no one has yet been held accountable for their part in their deaths. We remember those we lost today and all days as we continue to fight for Justice and change 💚💚💚
It’s a disgusting video. We hope that the police are taking this seriously. Not only is it extremely upsetting to survivors & people who lost family, it’s hateful & offensive to everyone that has been affected by the tragic events of that night. 1/3
After much hard work lobbying the Government and with the public's support for the Grenfell United petition we are pleased to announce that the PM has granted additional panel members to the inquiry. This is a huge step in our fight for justice & truth💚 Statement to follow.
6 months ago our lives were turned upside down. We will be forever indebted to the community. We ask the nation to keep us in your thoughts today & in the future. Today is about love, unity & remembrance. 💚

We hope everyone is okay, our thoughts are with all those affected.
🚨 20 fire engines on the scene of a fire at New Providence Wharf in East London this morning.
The building’s still covered in ACM cladding - the same type as was on Grenfell. Awaiting updates.

Today marks the 19th day of Ramadan, the moment 6 years ago where we lost 72 loved ones at Grenfell Tower. We remember them today, and once again thank all our Muslim brothers and sisters who were some of the first to help us that night when those in power failed us 🤲💚
Today is 79 months since 72 loved ones were taken from us and those responsible still walk free.
2024 needs to be the year of answers and significant steps towards Justice.

"We need justice, we need to hear the clink of handcuffs. We need the perpetrators in court & in jail.
We need people to pay a price for what happened. We can't have Grenfell happening & the world just continues as if nothing has happened." - Ed Daffarn
We received the sad news this morning that Clarrie Mendy passed away. Many of you will know her & her tireless quest for justice and truth over the last 3.5 years. Our thoughts are with her & her family. May she rest in peace and watch over us as we all continue her quest 💚
77 months since our 72 loved ones were taken from us.
77 months, no justice. 77 months & still no date for the publication of the Phase 2 report.

is rotten to the core 'little better than crooks & killers'. No remorse, or responsibility for the murder of our 72. Only greed & recklessness for human life.

- NO action to change how ppl in social housing are treated

"Grenfell Forever in Our Hearts" & Green hearts 💚 message created at the request of the bereaved and survivors
The Grenfell Inquiry are planning on publishing the phase 1 report on 30th Oct. The day before Brexit!
We have waited a long time for this report, it cannot be allowed to be buried in Brexit!
We have written to the Chairman & urged him to reconsider.
Our response to todays Times article regarding the upcoming decision by
@mhclg
to rush the demolition of Grenfell Tower, given that less than 10 bereaved and survivors have been consulted on their thoughts about it, and that no one has yet been held accountable
Devastating to see images of such quick fire spread last night in

. It brings back memories of
#Grenfell
& we can't believe that over 2.5 years later this is happening. Our hearts go out to all the students affected. 1/3

For five years we’ve had to endure Government’s games. We’ve been forced to hold them to account to create a legacy of meaningful change for our loved ones. To prevent another Grenfell.
Today’s news has left us speechless. Outraged.
The Home Office will not require owners of high rise buildings to prepare evacuation plans, or make arrangements for disabled residents to escape, abandoning a core recommendation of the Grenfell Inquiry weeks before the fifth anniversary of the fire
Outraged that
@10DowningStreet
awarded Daniel Moylan
@danielmgmoylan
appointment to House of Lords. He was Deputy Leader at RBKC & was at the heart of a culture at that held residents in contempt.
Here he is asleep at

In June 2017 41% of disabled people in
#Grenfell
died.
5.5 years later, disabled residents face the same nightmare as they did then. Ordered to stay put with no means of escape, they do not stand a chance. A stark reminder that Government treats disabled people as secondary.
Today marks 55 months since our 72 innocent men, women & children were taken from us💚
55 months on and Justice still has not been delivered.
The evidence has been uncovered. Those responsible must be held accountable.

Five years ago, 72 people tragically lost their lives in a devastating fire at Grenfell Tower.
At today’s memorial service, we joined survivors in remembering those lost. It was an honour to meet the people
@GrenfellUnited
who play a vital role in the care of those affected.
BIG NEWS! We've just found out Arconic witness Claude Schmidt WILL give evidence to

Inquiry. Thanks to everyone who signed our petition & helped keep up the pressure. He will now face questions about his role in what happened. 1/2
Rock Feilding-Mellen was was one of the key decision makers behind the switch from safe, non combustible cladding to the violently combustible ACM. A decision which he based entirely on aesthetics and cost cutting.
A decision that killed 72 people.
Words can't express the gratitude with have to every single person that came to show their support at the silent walk. As you can see the attendance was beyond all expectations.

Residents affected will need to be looked after & Council must offer safe accommodation for people affected tonight.
Today we mark 67 months since the fire at Grenfell but at a time we remember our loved ones we are given the news that we are vulnerable to multiple health risks.
This has left us anxious and angry at the negligence across the board. We are still trying to process this. 💚🤲
Todays vote was a disgrace and extremely disheartening to see that those elected to represent us are actively working against our interests.
It is shameful and disappointing
@FelicityBuchan
that as our local MP you voted this down!
@RobertJenrick
@BorisJohnson
and others....
After hearing Monday's closing statements from Munroe, we are horrified, disgusted and shocked at the level of contempt authorities have towards our communities.

The deaths of 72 people at Grenfell should have been the wake up call to Govt and industry to put safety first. 5 years on, yet another high-rise building with a single staircase has been approved. How many more people have to die until those responsible for our safety, wake up?
