Jota was destined for the top but never had a 'bigger than this' attitude at Wolves. He earned it. Love that when he played FM he preferred the challenge of taking tiny clubs (Gondomar, Telford Utd) to greatness. That was him. It's hard to find the words.

He was fearless yet delicate, a warrior yet dainty and precise. Diogo not Diego. He swapped the Champions League for the Championship and embraced Wolves and Wolverhampton. In return they loved and adored him. Talking about him in the past tense doesn't make sense.
