Muriel Furrer was riding in the biggest race of her life, 10 minutes from home. After crashing, it was 90 minutes before she was found. She died the next day. Went to Zurich to speak to Muriel's family, hear about her life, and ask how this can happen.

Cycling is a sport where teams must confront their own mortality, never more than at the end of this year’s relegation cycle. For several, the #TDF2025 is everything - their chance to escape, or a door slammed shut. Spent two weeks on the road with them.

Before the Tour de France, Matteo Jorgenson paid tribute to each teammate. But what would he like them to say of him?. “Just that I’m fully committed.”. Loved speaking to him about journaling, cycling’s all-consuming nature, and battling with Pogacar.

What do Tour de France riders do on their rest day? They ride. Why? It’s a little about recovery, but mainly about coffee. Really enjoyed this from @TimSpiers.

Fun day of racing in Carcassonne. Freed of domestique duty, Wellens wins in the Belgian champs jersey. Pogacar repays post-crash favour (and reignites spat with Jorgenson), and what about poor old Alaphilippe?.

Stage 14 and Superbagnères — a climb one favourite failed to reach. Remco Evenepoel has abandoned the Tour de France. “He didn't have the legs to suffer,” say his team. Arensman wins for under-fire INEOS, muted Pogacar/Vingegaard duel. With @oilysailor:.

Pogacar dominant, improvements from Vingegaard, but a horrible day for Evenepoel, overtaken on a TT for the first time. Will Pogacar ease up? “You never know when your last day is on the Tour. I will say it honestly, the team pays you to win.".

The first high mountain stage of the Tour de France. The last stage the race was in the balance?. Pogacar shows there is a chasm between himself and the rest - his acceleration was one of the most decisive acts I’ve seen on a bike.
