I thank Valve for putting the HDMI consortium on the spotlight. Now everyone's becoming aware. Have you noticed most GPUs come with like 3/4 DP ports but only 1 (or 0) HDMI? Now you know the reason.
The funniest part about all of this is even Valve can't fix the mess that is HDMI 2.1 on Linux, the GabeCube still has a 2.0 port. Granted for the hardware it doesn't really mattter

Putting aside the pricing and performance matters, Valve has 2 new devices powered by Linux with a KDE Plasma desktop this basically cements the fact that they're going to continue investing into Linux, KDE Plasma, and hopefully into addressing problems with Wayland
