This is factually untrue. Hanna was offered 2 months of pay, as legally required by CA, and has not officially been offered any severance at all, except to be notified that any severance offered in the future will have many strings attached.
Regarding Twitter’s reduction in force, unfortunately there is no choice when the company is losing over $4M/day.
Everyone exited was offered 3 months of severance, which is 50% more than legally required.
