- Per using AI in lessons, be led by the evidence that it’s beneficial rather than the idea.- Don’t fall down the AI detection rabbit hole; it’s a huge industry that wants your money.- Educate parents and students from early years onward in digital literacy.… 🧵.

- Ask who is accountable (teacher, SLT, school, company, etc) if there is a problem with AI tool.- AI algorithms do not favor diversity; consider how this negatively impacts students .- If colleagues are using AI for tasks, ask whether they are worth doing in first place .… 🧵.

- Consider how children are affected by AI apps in environments that are non-consensual (per data sharing).- Beware free apps and platforms; they have something to gain from your info.- When considering using AI systems, ask how they support the ethics of your school.…🧵.
