No one understands the mental energy it takes to be a doctor. To listen to a patient and decipher what could be going on with them. It is mental olympics every time and it can be exhausting. Even more exhausting when ppl don’t understand this and think it’s just a regular 9 to 5.

Hey intern friends. You’re not gonna know anything or how to do anything and it’ll all be really confusing. However, it gets better and we all went through it. Don’t be ashamed to ask questions. It’s literally your seniors and attendings job to answer them.
