@pagingdrsank why do fat people need to be excluded from jokes when everyone gets joked on? yall are not special. yall feel a way, which is crazy when you can hit the gym. but fats are weak willed and lack drive and determination. sounds like a personal problem.

Well yeah, being famous comes with responsibility whether you like it or not. People can choose to do what they want but it doesn’t stop their reach and impact 🤷🏾♀️

Do I get personally offended every time I hear a joke about bigger people? No. That doesn’t mean it won’t have an impact on others so I can’t invalidate their feelings. They all just need to go outside and touch grass honestly. Breathe some fresh air. Enjoy the summer.

Typically when someone realizes a joke is hurtful, they try to put themselves in the other persons shoes and understand why. That is the part that I don’t think occurred for Cardi. Instead, she said I talk about everybody. They both could have responded to each other differently.

Cardi B and this fat phobia topic is interesting. Two things can be true: Cardi was joking and jokes can be hurtful to certain groups of people. Everyone has been offended by jokes. Let’s not act brand new. Just because one person has thick skin, doesn’t mean everyone does.

Wash your hands. Mask as much as you can. Take your vitamins. Stay hydrated. COVID never left but there is an increase in cases now. This is not the time to play with your health. This country is providing us with enough struggles.

We finally found a house to rent in our new city!! It’s beautiful. Perfect distance for me and hubby. Plenty of space for our family to visit and hopefully grow our own too sooner or later. Thank you, God! I’m so excited.

You may have seen that tiktok go viral this week where a derm resident said folks with acne shouldn't rotate. There's a bigger convo about fatphobia in medicine to be had. It isn't always intentional, but the harm is real -for patients and for us as providers. Cont.

She ended up finding something but needs to renovate to make everything accessible for her height. Hot take: I think insurance should cover renovations to homes for disabled people. It’s not like she asked to be born little.

Watching a little person on House Hunters. Crazy the struggle people with disabilities go through for normalcy. The height of everything was wrong. One place had space for stackable washer & dryer which wouldn’t work. The tub is too high. The oven burners on the back, not front.

Fever of 100.4. Home COVID/Flu test negative but I don’t trust those. I’m pretty sure I have COVID. Whatever this wave is and thanks to the imbeciles in the WH we don’t have a real CDC to even know what is going on. Stay safe out here y’all.
I hate being sick but being sick in the summer time is just extra torture!!.
