Just remember when you vote ,there's been no #Austerity in the UK since the 1940s .Our macroeconomic problems stem from the failure of successive Govs to balance the budget! Vote for those who promise less ,tax less & interfere less #Austeritymyarse

🚨Sir Jacob Rees-Mogg says Tories should seriously consider voting Reform in the Caerphilly by-election. He argues it’s clear neither the Tories nor Labour can win there (when was the last time that happened!), and the Union is too important. Jacob is a deeply honourable man.

This is really something. Boris basically saying the treasury pushed for what has become known as the ‘Boriswave’ because of inflationary wage pressures. In other words, net migration of 900k in one year to stop wage growth.

Most of my followers are old like me so they know this. So this isn’t for you. But for any youngsters, this is how UK politics works: 1: Labour spend money like it’s going out of fashion. They give money for everything. But eventually they get thrown out of power as they

So the problem is the cost of people who could work but are on the sick , so we're going to spend more on advising people what jobs they could do ? Here's an idea ,tell the GPs to raise the criteria of what is required to go on the sick ? You're welcome

We're putting job advisors into GP surgeries across England & Wales as part of our #PlanforChange to help more sick & disabled people into work. It's time to stop treating health & work in isolation. That's why we've announced an extra £167 million investment in #ConnecttoWork

What can be done? While there are doubtless efficiency savings to be made in some departments, trimming the fat at, for example, DCMS will only make a small difference. There's nothing we can do about the debt interest (although we could stop adding to the debt). It would be nice

Today marks 100 years since the birth of Margaret Thatcher. Among her legacies: the Right to Buy scheme — one of the most damaging privatisations in modern history that has fuelled today’s housing crisis. #MargaretThatcher #RightToBuy
