Complaining about Chelsea
Joined April 2025
Started making dumb videos about Chelsea and football in May and couldn’t have imagined it going this well come the end of 2025. Thank you so much to everyone for supporting/watching. Bring on 2026 and UTC 💙

Famous sports medicine specialist “InvertTheWing” has taken a break from calling Bukayo Saka overrated to tell us Cole Palmer needs surgery. Checks out.
You know the situation that pissed me off the most? I think 93rd minute, no one was bothering to close Palmed down. Could have created room to shoot vs. a keeper terrible vs long shots, could have fired in a dangerous cross, anything. He tries an over ambitious line breaker

This is the problem. Anyone with a brain can look at captain best player 15 mins on the weekend and see he wasn’t rested. Yet the journalists who cover the team just vomit whatever Winstewart shit into their mouth, into our consciousness. Zero scruples.
Obviously Reece James wasn’t only being rested last night. I’m sure overall he’s fine but clearly there was SOME concern about his fitness. You don’t just “rest” your captain & best player in the 2nd leg of a semifinal vs Arsenal.

If Palmer wasn’t clearly still playing through something then he would’ve started this game and wouldn’t still be on a minutes restriction. I also don’t think people can reliably conclude surgery is even an option.

Being a good overlapper and having inconsistent crossing technique aren't mutually exclusive He's a good overlapper (pac, good timing on runs, good angles) and the opportunity cost of inverting him when the right side lacked width wasn't worth it 👍🏿
Gusto. Is. Not. A. Good. Overlapper. His. Crossing. Is. Inconsistent. Him inverted is his best position because he understands build-up, and links up well in close proximity.

conservatives are never able to argue with the substance of someone's arguments so they just start saying stuff like "um. you're rich and you uh live in a society"
Billie Eilish calls America "stolen land" Ok, Billie. Your $14,000,000 mansion in LA is built where the Tongva tribes once lived. Any plans on returning it?

I was too shitty to Johyan after the Napoli game. These people in the media talking about Chelsea “didn’t give it a go” without giving any sound footballing analysis as to what they mean by that are the actual problem
I don’t think the gameplan was too bad, but I think the formation change came a little too late, 10-15 minutes earlier probably makes the difference Estevao has shown top potential this season but you see why he doesn’t start tonight, so many turnovers prevented any control

This is fair but what I found infinitely more annoying is the “where was the fight and desire?” takes that are about as useful or uninsightful as saying “why didn’t Chelsea just beat them?”
Cannot believe the number of journos and fans defending the gameplan last night after wasting a full hour of their lives watching a manager play Liam Delap on the right flank. You lot have to be trolling.

It’s very easy for people to talk about these intangible things but Rosenior was tasked with trying to put his foot on the gas enough to score against the best defence in the world without getting roasted the other way. He made the margins fairly small. Is what it is.
Arsenal 1 : 0 Chelsea ▪ xG: 0.73 - 1.07 ▪ xThreat: 0.63 - 1.67 ▪ Possession: 44.0% - 56.0% ▪ Field Tilt: 35.1% - 64.9% ▪ Def Action Height: 49.2 - 43.6 Donations https://t.co/nlgfzDqYhs

Like unfortunately Paul Chelsea don’t have Didier Drogba and Nicolas Anelka up front and Arsenal don’t have Manual Almunia in goal anymore

There’s analysis from people like Merse after games like this that just consists of them saying “why can’t you just Chelsea your way to a win against Arsenal” like there isn’t a high level tactical sport being played in front of them and teams just win via vibes and fun 🤩

We have been better than Arsenal for basically my whole life. It’s swings and roundabouts. Not saying Chelsea haven’t dug themselves this hole but sometimes those teams you don’t like have their moments and they’re in theirs.
Some people just have to accept that Arsenal are better than us. Don’t get me wrong, I’d love to sit here and chat about set pieces and refs but they are just better than us, it’s their moment and yeah coach and players could do better in moments but they’ve been set up to fail.

But the trajectory of the club isn’t the right one at all. Chelsea need to be better at numerous different things to get there. In my opinion, they won’t continue solely on this path.

If Chelsea have 5-10% in numerous areas across the pitch then yeah we could beat them but it’s very clear that their squad building has been more efficient and their model is paying off. Difference between the two clubs is clear but not insurmountable in coming years.

Anyone got access to alternate timeline where we play a Caicedo Enzo pivot and get roasted 3-0?
Said at HT Arsenal were there for the taking tonight if we wanted it. Unfortunately, the way we were coached tonight, we didn’t move up through the gears until too late. If we started with more direct intent, we would have won that tonight. Very frustrating.

I just don’t understand this policing of sentiment. Some people are more positive about their football club for their own personal reasons. It’s not always because of some Twitter agenda they have. I think some people need to think less about the internet when their team loses.
@TBLCFC Because there’s too many newbies polluting football normalising losing and normalising us being poor. They look to gaslight with fake positives to comfort themselves
