After careful consideration, I have decided to rebrand my website. The concept remains the same, but I do not want to explicitly promote gambling. You can use it for such, but I have made it more general. You can get early access. Launch will be soon.

Joao Pedro 7 days ago was a Brighton player on the beach enjoying his holidays. Now he has scored a brace in the Club World Cup semi-final.

Quite genius for Maresca to play Neto on the left today. Fluminese are playing very narrow out of possession, and letting him get tons, and tons of space. No wonder why Maresca put his most natural width holder down that flank, as opposed to Nkunku.

Pedro Neto has been POTT. And by quite a distance too, if I am honest.

Everybody will talk about Joao Pedro’s finish, but don’t forget how his OWN interception started that move. Wow.

Simply put, someone like Jamie Gittens is undefendable on his day. The only thing that will stop him failing is confidence. He will mature into one of the deadliest, most unstoppable wingers in the world. His underlying numbers already show that just at the age of 20, he is the

I think Gittens and Madueke have similar weaknesses. But I also think Gittens is significantly, significantly better at his strengths than Madueke. He is much more 2 footed, he is much better at using his acceleration, burts of pace, and is also is a bit varied in his final

The next part of his game he can develop is his instinct. To become more useful off the ball. Because his sheer pace is something that can be used as much, much more. Gittens' off the ball movement right now is mostly limited to attacking the front post, but if he can expand

For example, the way I describe Gittens it is almost as if he is exclusively designed to dribble and shoot. But he is also very good at firing in cutbacks/crosses if instructed to, he is good at going on underlaps if Maresca opts the fullback to stay wide (like he has been doing)

The way I am describing Gittens, it will sound like I am talking about the best winger in the world. So what are his weaknesses?. Simply put, it is a matter of being raw, and a matter of time. When you watch Gittens, you can see the promising signs, you can see his strengths, but

Gittens regularly attracts not only 1 player, but usually 2. Because honestly put, it is the only way you even have a remote chance of stopping him. Either by fouling, or congesting. This will open up plenty of space for Enzo Fernandez / LHS Palmer to attack into. Gravity.

The goal of touchline wingers in Maresca's system is to stretch the pitch, defend wide areas, but also drag players towards them. Gittens has immense, immense gravity, because you never know what way he is going to go. Opponents are forced to get tight. Unlike someone like

And you people will think I am being hyperbolic, but Gittens simply put, is undefendable. Alongside Lamine Yamal, I do not think there are many better 1v1 specialists in football right now. He has brilliant burts of pace, acceleration/decleration, makes use of body feints, and

Gittens inherently fixes a lot of Chelsea's problems out wide, and the main one is how they lack a consistent threat of goals. Gittens is a shoot-first winger, and has a general better knack and instinct for goal than someone like Madueke on the right. He is much better at not

Before Kovac, Dortmund used a system that involved touchline wingers. And of course, Gittens is a touchline winger, and naturally saw brilliant, brilliant form. It was when Sahin got sacked, Kovac switched to a system that used inside forwards, and naturally Gittens suffered a

One thing I do not want people falling for is hatred and propaganda from Dortmund fans who speak ill of him. And that is the first misconception I want to clear up in this thread. Dortmund fans who claim that he is not good, or that they are happy to get rid of him either:. A)

Another lad who I have been following since his days in the EDS, albeit less extensively than the likes of Palmer, Delap, etc. But I was always surprised he didn't get more time/more of a chance. Because he is an absolute FREAK. No hyperbole, but this is potentially one of the
