I think it’s a good question Matthew! I would say the current formulation of “we need 4 to join us” is the correct way to say it. Because the Dems are the coalition against this bill, it the other way around.
@SymoneDSanders since this world is all about messaging, do you think it would make any difference if Ds said “we would like to join with 4 Rs” v. “we need 4 Rs to join us” Does it lend itself to coalition building?.
