My mum is in Colchester General with Covid which she contracted whilst in for a fall and hip operation. Sheβs 83 and her oxygen levels are 60%. The next 24 hours are really the last chance, here she is in the 1970s with my sister. Happier times.

@ByDonkeys Action taken caused no criminal damage or concern and only contained freely available information about the Pumpkin President and his mate the paedophile. Where are the arrests for the people distressing or intimidating minorities with malicious communications? Drop the charges.

I've just been made aware that my friends @ByDonkeys have been arrested on charges of "Malicious Communications" for their projection onto Windsor Castle. It will be interesting to see which side of the line the usual crowd of "free speechers" stand on this one given threat the

Stop selling arms to Israel then.
The suffering of civilians in Gaza has reached new depths. Alongside 25 other partners, the UK message is clear: the war in Gaza must end now. We need an immediate ceasefire, release of all hostages and a full resumption of aid. https://t.co/drlpbidmWl

At @covidinquiryuk this morning, Rosemary Gallagher of the RCN explained that some PPE provided to NHS workers was so substandard that it was potentially harmful. The consequences of a Government putting profit and personal connections ahead of public health. #VIPLane

Today at @covidinquiryuk, @MattHancock was asked if he knew of any other country in the world that set up a VIP-Lane. He repeatedly refused to answer before saying that VIP-Lanes during pandemics are an 'inevitable part of life'. The answer he was looking for was no.

Matt Hancock describes promoting a PPE offer from his pub landlord, Mr Bourne, as 'impeccable behaviour'. Mr Bourne was awarded a Β£40m contract. He then subcontracted out the work. Fortunately for Mr Bourne, @covidinquiryuk has chosen not hear evidence from any Suppliers.

How does a small loss-making recruitment agency land a Β£50 million deal to supply PPE? According to Lord Feldman, the agency owner just needs to be a 'good chap' and 'ex-SAS'. Much of the PPE SG Recruitment eventually delivered would be marked 'do not supply to the NHS'.

in Govt. The Covid Inquiry is about holding decision makers to account and taking learning from what has happened to avoid the same mistakes as last time. How can that happen if those that procured the dodgy PPE and the companies that were involved are not being called?'

'My Dad, George Whyatt, died from Covid 19. I could not be with him when he passed away. The whole C19 debacle was mismanaged, but by far the worst aspect of this mismanagement were the "companies" who made a fortune selling overpriced, sub standard PPE with the "help" of those..

'How can anyone be protected who supplied inadequate and faulty PPE Be honest! If there's nothing to hide there shouldn't be a problem, you can't pick and choose what suits you and why would you want to'

'Awarding contracts to companies with no experience in the provision of PPE is questionable at best and speaks of corruption at worse. Families who lost loved ones deserve answers and if lessons are really going to be learned then the award of PPE contracts must be considered.'

'I lost my beautiful mum Wendy to Covid as the government were unable to keep her safe. I cannot believe that the inquiry has chosen not to question the dodgy PPE suppliers, this is disgusting and shows they are supporting them making money when they did not help prevent Covid'

'My mother was discharged from hospital directly to a care home whose staff seemed unsure of the correct PPE procedures. She died 2 weeks later. Those who supplied unusable PPE must be held to account.' @covidinquiryuk
