The Gulf of Mexico is showing the result of two hurricanes (Helene and Milton) and a cold air outbreak. More mixing and cooling of the sea surface temperatures in some areas. Oh the Gulf is still warm but temperature anomalies of -2 to -3 degrees C is pretty significant.

Do not share a single forecast period from fantasyland! Especially if it depicts a landfalling hurricane. Have you no heart? You're not going to win the Nobel Prize by trying to be first...10 days out! Maybe be awarded the 'Dumbell Prize'.
You're gonna see posts on a potential Gulf hurricane in 10+ days. Let's be clear. The GFS/American model is the only model showing this. And it's own ensemble members (below) overwhelmingly don't agree, showing tracks further south/east more typical of November. No need to panic!

We must fight science misinformation. The govt cannot create or control hurricanes. Linear trails behind airplanes are not "chemtrails" dispersing mind control chemicals - they're clouds. Climate change is making weather impacts more extreme but we can combat it.
