Hey
@BBCNews
. Please advise your sports correspondent, Nesta McGregor that, contrary what he reported on the 6pm News tonight, a British team has, indeed, won all 3 domestic trophies and the European Cup/Champions League. That team was Glasgow Celtic in season 1966/67. Thank you
Whatever your political views, this is a disgraceful lack of basic courtesy and respect shown by Kay Burley towards Scotland's First Minister - Burley should be disciplined for this, but I won't hold my breath.........
Man of the match Christopher Jullien added on Sky Sports News: "When you are a family on the field everything is much easier.I’m really very sorry about what happened to Nir Bitton but Hatem came inside and we finished the job.
Everything is so good for us."
French Chris gets us!
Doesn't matter which team you support - if you're someone's brother, this photograph will touch your heart - your parents must be so proud,

Of our Europa League rivals, Real Betis have just won at the Nou Camp to go 3rd in La Liga. Bayer Leverkusen won 7-1 and are 3rd in the Bundesliga. Ferencvaros are 5 points clear at the top of their league. Hopefully, next season we'll improve, but perspective needed this season!
C'mon
@CelticFC
- let's invite
@LouMacari10
up to a packed Paradise for a rousing reception. He deserves it for the great work he is doing to help the homeless in Stoke 👋👋💚

Former footballer Lou Macari is helping the homeless with a centre to provide emergency shelter and short-term accommodation for about 50 people.

Interesting, new 20 minute video made by a young Englishman about Jimmy McGrory, Celtic's (and the UK's) all time top goal scorer. Thought many of my Twitter friends would like it -enjoy!
If you think that, after that awful performance on Sunday and only winning one group point so far, I’m gonna pay good money to make a 340 mile round trip to sit in a freezing cold, flat Celtic Park to watch a dead rubber match, arriving home at 3am, you’d be absolutely right 😂🍀
This is great news,
@CelticFC
, but please can we ensure that we don’t forget the sad passing of the legendary Harry Hood in May, and have a minute’s applause at a home game soon? Thanks 🍀

I know Celtic have broken my heart this season but this is still a nice way to celebrate my 64th birthday, even if my waistline isn’t going to agree 🎂😂💚🍀

Celtic win 7 titles in a row and a Double Treble.
English Media and Fans - "Big deal, there's no competition"
England beat Tunisia & Panama.
English Media and Fans - "Great results - we can only beat what's in front of us" 😂
Had a brilliant time up in Paradise yesterday watching Glasgow Celtic putting on a show. My beautiful daughter, Francesca & my handsome grandson, Richard helped make the day extra special 💚😀🍀 PS
@Stephen4_2
isn’t in this photo but was great to finally meet him 👍🍀
RIP Denis - a fine, multiple trophy winning goalkeeper for
@CelticFC
. More importantly, by all accounts, a good human being. Sincere condolences to his family and friends. RIP Denis 🙏🌹💚
Well said, John! All the Celtic fans I know wish Fernando and his family the best - the ones who vilify him get us a all a bad name and provide ammunition to our enemies.
I'm sickened by the online abuse of Fernando Ricksen. He has fought bravely & courageously for 6 years against a most dreadful disease. He is an inspiration & should know only love & comfort in his remaining time.
Prayers for Fernando and his beautiful wife & daughter.
@RangersRetroPod
@JackOFriel1
Thanks guys for your comments - the look on Broony’s face tells it own tale - the guy is still heartbroken. Some things are far more important than football and it’s rivalries 👍
This won't go down as the technically best or most important goal in our history (or even in this match🤣 ) But there's much to love about this 69 second video. In particular the reaction of Carl, his team mates on the pitch and the subs off it. You cannot fake that togetherness!
@axelthfc
Imagine being a supporter of a club who haven't won their league for over 60 years and who is arrogantly turning his nose up at a serial winner who has achieved title success on 3 different continents, as well as taking his National side to a World Cup. Anyway, we hope he stays!
5 years ago today, myself and Trish tied the knot. Tonight, we had a lovely meal to celebrate our anniversary. Here’s to many more happy years ahead! 💕🥳

@CelticFCShop
. Spent circa £200 on merchandise online on Monday 19th. £50 ST voucher taken off with a simple, customer-friendly admin function. The goods have arrived today in perfect condition. Great job - nice to give positive feedback 👏👏🍀
Sky pundits rightly condemning the cowardly/unprovoked assault by McPherson on Fran. Meanwhile, over on the BBC website - "There's also sure to be fall-out from the post-match incident between Rangers coach Craig McPherson and Fran Alonso". Implying that the blame is to be shared
@BBCSport
Easy answer - the first British side to win it, the best football played, all players and manager born with 30 miles radius of each other......🍀💚
What a beautiful image! Bertie the young Celtic footballing legend and Bertie the elder statesman -a wonderful ambassador for Celtic. Throughout his adult life, he was a great man who loved our Club and our supporters. And we loved him back 🍀💚🙏
Wow, just wow! If you get through watching this without shedding a tear, you’re a stronger person than me 💔😢 My fervent hope is that, somehow, somewhere Shane & Kirsty can see this performance and feel the love we have for both of them and this song (original lyrics and all!)🥰
In view of events today, this Sunday's Hearts game seems an ideal opportunity to bin the horrible "Cheer Up" song forever and also ensure that no one has the evidence to accuse the Celtic support of sectarian chanting - you can bet your life that there are those who will try!
If you think for one minute that I’ve driven through 170 miles of rain just so that I can sit in a cold, half empty stadium and watch our reserves possibly struggle against a lower division team......... you’d be absolutely right! 😄👍🍀

@Scotty_Sinclair
Best of luck, Scott - you should come up to Paradise next Saturday and get a chance to say your goodbyes to us. You'll get a fantastic reception! 👍🍀
For all the stick Brendan got about his transfer dealings at Liverpool, he has just delivered a £133.5 million profit on Coutinho. I hope they are grateful 👍
The 7500 or so who were present today - take a bow - the roar that sounded after Amy’s shot hit the net was very loud indeed! Huge congratulations to Elena & the Ghirls 😀🍀 They weren’t at their best today, but got the job done and thoroughly deserve their title win 💚😎
Happy 8th Wedding Anniversary today to my lovely missus, Trish. This photo was taken yesterday at Loch Lomond as we’re up in Bonnie Scotland for a few days’ break 💚

match ever for my 5 year old grandson - all 3 of us are buzzing. Myself , Richard Jack and his dad, Richard, who took the photo 🍀👍😄
An opposition player confirms what we have all been saying for weeks - VAR delays/interventions help our opponents catch a breather from the intensity of our play. The longer the delay, the greater the impact on the flow of our game...
This 👍 100%. “Roamin in the Gloamin” too. Not acceptable. The “silent majority” need to drown it out. No need for these anyway, as there are so many great songs about our club and current team/players. 🍀💚
I heard the old line ‘soon there’ll be no Protestants at all ‘ sung by a small section of Celtic support last night. they need to knock that right on the head. One thing which always marked the club out was it’s openness to all and a significant number of non catholic supporters
🗣️ "Just to say to the Celtic fans, that I love them very much & I want to thank them for everything they've done for me."
On Saturday, Club Legend Frank McGarvey wanted to speak to
@CelticTV
to express his thanks and gratitude to the

supporters.
YNWA, Frank 💚
Liam Boyce was at CP on trial in 2010. Over the past 11 years, we've has various chances to sign him for peanuts/nothing. I'm not saying that he is a top striker, but evidence indicates that he would have scored many domestic goals for us. Unlike those we have wasted millions on
Great photo, Ged - thanks for sharing! Good to see that they got there safely. Usually
@CelticFC
give us really good content re leaving Glasgow Airport, arrival, etc but there seems to have been a news blackout this time? Hopefully, coverage will improve as we near match day 🍀🤞
Wee Soro made his Ivory Coast debut tonight in a goalless draw vs. Ghana. He came on as a sub in stoppage time. Congratulations Ismaila - you're a full international now!
When I was in my early to mid-teens, Lou was one of my heroes with all his goals for
@CelticFC
. Now I’m in my mid-sixties, he’s still a hero, but for a far more important reason - his great work helping the homeless, in Stoke and elsewhere. What a great, inspirational guy 👏👏💚
Huge congratulations to my lovely stepdaughter, Natalie who had her graduation ceremony today at the Stadium of Light in Sunderland. First Class Honours BA Degree in Fine Art achieved in 2020, but ceremony held over until now due to the pandemic. A great day was had by all! 👍👩🎓
Henry is not only a fine journalist, who has always shown great respect for Celtic and Scottish Football, but his tweet below also shows him to be a class act as a person 👏👏
@SteveMcGrory2
I was obviously aware of the Lisbon Lions, Steve, but appreciated their importance even more when a Celtic fan walked onto the pitch during England training at Euro 2004, evaded security, kissed centre spot and left. England were training at Estadio Nacional. Thoughts with Bertie
Yesterday, we had to say goodbye to our beautiful cat, Milly. She has been a beloved member of our family for 15 years. We’re blessed to have had her in our lives for so long, but are heartbroken and miss her dearly 💔 Anyone who has loved and lost a pet will know how we feel 🌹
Looks like Scott is making an immediate, positive impact at Gillingham. Not just converting a penalty to help his team win the shoot out, but with his overall performance too. Great stuff and well done, Scott from all
@CelticFC
supporters 🍀👌💚
Desperately sad news. I had never met Alison but, by all accounts, she was a lovely person. May she rest in eternal peace. Sincere condolences to her family and friends 🙏🌹💚
I agree with Martin. This is an outstanding piece of composed defending and fast, attractive football - and if Boli can continue to improve his performance levels the way he has done over the past 3 months, we will have a top class left back on our hands 🍀👍
Just a very quick message to wish all my Twitter/X friends (particularly those I engage with regularly) a very Happy & Merry Christmas - I hope that you and your loved ones all have a wonderful day x
Huge congratulations to all those involved in the making of "Anne". Maxine Peake's portrayal of the heroic Anne Williams, in particular, deserves any acting awards that are going. The drama is another reminder of the hell that the families went through for over 3 decades. JFT97🌹
Am I still cheesed off with that abject performance yesterday? - Absolutely
Do I think we're in a fierce title race? - Absolutely
Do I think we'll be champions again come May? - Absolutely
If the worst happens and we're not, will I renew my ST? - Absolutely.

@unbawmcgaw
Rodgers said Clement has done a great job (which he has) - he only had a pop at the media hype. Clement's interview with the BBC was embarrassing, cringey and ungracious. Not that it will bother you, but I had a lot of respect for him before that interview, but very little now.
Fantastic to be back at Paradise with my pal Tony and son-in-law Richard (who took the photo) after almost 18 months. Great team performance and atmosphere! Looking forward to the rest of the season 👍🍀🍀💚
Clare - please let John know how much love and respect we all have for him. We are a far better club for having had him involved, in some capacity, for most of those 61 years 👍🍀👍💚

Merry Christmas to all my followers from myself and my lovely wife, Trish. You have certainly helped me get through what has been a tough year with your humour, friendship and support. Hopefully a better year lies ahead for us all! 😄👍💕
Bhoys & Ghirls - I give you Luis Palma! Comes across to Celtic as a 23 year old to a new club, country & culture. Doesn't speak English. Yet, not only does he give us moments like this. But, domestically, he has provided a goal contribution every 39 mins and a goal every 89 mins!
Come on now - who else remembers watching this class cartoon as children in the sixties? Only 30 episodes were ever created, and only 26 of them were shown in the UK. What a brilliant theme tune!

Kevin Nisbet to Celtic in the summer? It's a "yes" from me. By no means is he the finished article, but with the right development/coaching and better players around him, I think he would thrive at Celtic Park......
@RangersRetroPod
@JackOFriel1
Well said, my friend - at the end of the day, whether it be Broony, Fernando or whoever, these guys are human beings who just happen to be employees or ex-employees of a football club. No need whatsoever for behaviour like that - all decent fans are rightly repelled
#onlyagame
The tweet below is from a good Celtic man, who also follows Shamrock Rovers as his local team. Liam Scales may not be everyone's idea of a "sexy" signing (if it is confirmed, of course). However, I, for one, am happy to take the word of someone who's seen him play regularly.👍
@SteveMcGrory2
First and foremost he can defend. Reads the game very well, and is good in the air. Good passer, and tough as teak. A great signing if true.
Watched this movie today - what a magnificent, heart-warming experience, no matter how may times you watch it. Best Christmas film of all time imho 😍🎄🤶
I had a terrific Father’s Day lunch today with my lovely family. This is me with my 2 grandsons - Richard, aged 7 & Oscar, aged 4 months. Both handsome chaps. I love them both so much and I’m very proud of them

@RangersFC
@CelticFC
Brilliant comments from many Bears on this thread. Great that my club is showing the same respect to Fernando that
@RangersFC
showed to big Billy. I look forward to showing mine in Sunday’s minutes applause 💚💙
Peter absolutely calls it right! Please don't be brainwashed by the MSM hype that has already started in the wake Truss' conference speech. She and her Government pose a strong danger to us all, particularly those who are living in poverty😡
The one consolation I took from Saturday's match was the devastated look on the faces of our players at the end. This tweet confirms that our players know that a domestic draw =failure. That has to be the attitude of every squad member this season, starting on Sunday at Livi 🍀
@SLBenfica
Classy tribute from a classy club. Our 2 great clubs have a long history of playing each other, from the 1960's with McNeill & Eusebio, our 2 greatest ambassadors. We'll take good care of your boy. Hope you have a great season, except if/when you play
@CelticFC
, of course! 🍀🇵🇹😜
@B0UNCYB0UNCY
And 13 months later, Tom scored into the same net, sealing the invincible treble and beginning the unprecedented treble treble sequence. How I love a happy ending! 👍😀🍀
Sad news. John will also be remembered by my generation as a member of Celtic's "Quizball" team in the 60's. He also featured in that wonderful Lisbon Lions documentary a few years ago. Sincere condolences to his family and friends. RIP John 🙏🌹💚
Sorry to read this. Did a couple of Burns Suppers with him & he was extraordinary. Memorable too in a BBC series about schools & teaching 60 years almost ago called “This Man Craig” : Scottish actor John Cairney has died aged 93 - BBC News
@TheBaldKyogo
It's just because of the home-grown rule, Joe. We need 8 who have either been club trained (minimum of 4) or trained in the Country's association, and Mikey falls into the former category. I don't expect to see MJ make many UCL appearances, if any tbh.
I’m 100% with Andy on this one. Anyone who feels that we should, as a support, continue to chant songs mocking the dead, please unfollow or block me. 🍀
Said it before ditch the songs about about opposition players and staff who've died. Really does a disservice to the joy that's being generated on the field. 💚
Agree, Matthew. I’ve tagged in
@yogijunior3
in on this so his Dad can see how appreciated he was. Today’s article on the
@CelticFC
website puts into focus his goal scoring. 7th all time Celtic top scorer, netting a goal every 2 games. For someone who predominantly played wide👏👏
I have never known a time when Celtic have had so many goal scoring substitutes. In only 13 competitive matches this season, no fewer than 9 different subs have hit the back of the net - Sinclair, Griffiths, Ntcham, Edouard, Christie, Shved, Forrest, Morgan & Hayes 🍀👍😀
