Notice Mamdani charmed Trump on live TV without backing down on any stances. He didn't water himself down, he didn't even take back calling Trump a fascist. Moderates would say butter him up, or try to appear more right-wing. Voters can see through thatāand evidently so does he!

Muriel caved on policy, allowed the government to federalize the city and WELCOMED it. I was working in her admin, in the comms sit room, when she said: we welcome the indefinite deployment. We all gasped and pushed away from our desks.
