Genuine question if this is going to happen: why PAs?
As an ACP with over 15 years experience, a nurse prac qual, prescribing & MSc in emergency med, if I want to be a doctor I have to go to medical school.
It must be same standard for all & that standard is a medical degree.
"If we want to tackle the crisis in GP numbers, we should establish a pathway for physician associates to go on to train as doctors and for newly qualified doctors to go straight into five years’ training as GPs."
