As an immunoengineering lab, we take great interest in addressing unsolved questions in immunology! Last few weeks have been good for trainees! Congrats to our close collaborators in Zhu lab on @ScienceAdvances & our 💫 PhD student @MonicaZhong5 for her second paper in a week!.
Pleased to share our new work @ScienceAdvances, led by @chengzhulab, revealing how forces regulate B cell & T cell synapse interactions. Our findings shed light on mechanistic underpinnings underlying the pathology of #immunodeficiencies, X-HIgM syndrome.

Can human immune organoids induce a de novo B cell response from scratch? A human PBMC sample can have both naïve and memory B cells directed against H1N1. We removed memory cells and induced germinal center and antibody response from naive cells! Read @SinghLabGT's new work!.
