Firefighters across the UK fell silent at 11am today in memory of firefighter Barry Martin, who died last month from injuries sustained at the Jenners fire in Edinburgh.  Everyone at Shirebrook Station sends Barrys family & colleagues our condolences. 🚒

20:08 crews received a call regarding children playing on the frozen pond at Shirebrook Leisure centre. Thankfully the children had safely exited the pond. With the recent tragic Incident that has taken place in West Midlands please remind your children of the danger of Ice.
