I have officially made the decision to "retire" as a manager for SHS sports. With my work for GWTV taking up a lot of my time, I felt like it was best to leave now. I would like to especially thank

We should consider ourselves lucky. There are not that many schools like Sterling. Thanks to a ton of donations, SHS has some incredibly awesome athletic facilities, especially Prescott Memorial Field and Homer Musgrove Fieldhouse. That intro video only proves my point.

Despite COVID, this was a very fun sophomore year. We battled through the obstacles like true Warriors. I especially want to thank the seniors for being with us the last four years. You are forever appreciated by the underclassmen that will follow your footsteps. I'll miss you.

ICYMI Girls Track and Field placed a strong second to Burlington-Central at sectionals last night, but most importantly 12 Golden Warriors qualified for state in 10 events. Congrats!
The crew will begin competition in Charleston next Friday.

-Watching planes or trains
-Being with or around my friends
-etc.....
However, after the last couple days on UIUC campus, I'm the happiest I've been in a long time.

As an Illinois fan, this team sure isn't perfect. However, they share the ball and don't care who scores, as long as the ball goes through the hoop. Rodgers and Shannon are both solid defenders, Hawkins and Harmon have stepped up big time, and Domask was another really great get.

$1.75/gallon would actually indicate that the economy is heavily improving. Think about the oil crisis of 1973. Price per barrel went up from $3 to $12 because there was almost no gas available.

All in all, this was an amazing chapter in my life. I believe getting all of this experience will help me out in the long run as I pursue my journalism degree at UIUC. All of you were awesome and supportive of me throughout my time at SHS... Thanks, guys 🥲 - I love you all.
