As my time as Secretary of Transportation concludes, I’m proud of all we’ve accomplished: tens of thousands of infrastructure projects, millions of manufacturing and construction jobs, & stronger, more resilient communities across America. Thank you for this opportunity to serve.

During 2023-2024, the two busiest years in U.S. air travel history, the flight cancellation rate fell to just 1.2%—the lowest on record. November 26, 2024, marked the busiest travel day ever, with over 3 million passengers screened by TSA.

Rode Pittsburgh’s light rail and met with staff and workers shaping the future of Pittsburgh Regional Transit. Improvements are underway across the system, including the Downtown-Uptown-Oakland BRT project we’re funding via the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
