I used to think that decency, civility decorum, kindness, etiquette… all those qualities that allow us to live side-by-side, were common traits in most people. The last 5 years has taught me that a helluva lotta people were just waiting for permission to be colossal a-holes.

If you work in healthcare and can’t (or won’t) wear a mask for your patient… you need to find another job Wearing a mask shouldn’t be optional. If a patient makes arrangements in advance, has chart noted as “masks required” and you say “No”? You don’t belong in patient care.

@YouAreLobbyLud The problem is that the public thinks public health doctors are physicians (ie they see & evaluate patients). But many are not clinicians. They’re bureaucrats. Doctors who are not clinicians really need to stop pretending that they are.

I'll never be anything but stunned that people were told a dangerous pandemic that literally shut the planet down was suddenly gone or no big deal. And almost everyone accepted this without any proof or verification. If that doesn't tell you about the human race, nothing will.
