Dear Mumbaikars, Sanjay Gandhi national park needs your attention. BMC is now behind your last left green lungs. Through the new draft they plan to amend the boundaries of ESZ/permissions of activities which which will impact the flora,fauna & tribals residing the forest. (1/n)

700 trees to be axed for eastern freeway extension till Thane.. Over 1600 for GMLR and more for other projects.. Not corruption free but a tree cover free Mumbai.. The govt will install a huge tree statue honouring the sacrifice of these trees ЁЯе▓.

Maha govt wants to move 1500 leopards to a billionaire's private zoo. They have proposed reducing leopard's status as protected species. Leopards frequenting into human habitat but no one is asking the question WHY? Where did the forests & wildlife of western Maharashtra VANISH?

Illegal dumping for land grab in Aarey forest?? Free run for encroachers ?? #SaveAareyForest
At around 4 pm I along with the Adivasi members reached Aarey Forest area where illegal dumping and destruction of the topography is going on. We citizens have been waiting for 2 hrs for the panchana and in the meantime after 2 hours another dumper has come @CMOMaharashtra

Inauguration of kabutarkhana in the periphery of Mumbai's Sanjay Gandhi national park is simply outrageous.. Well even feeding native wildlife is bad and then you want to gather 100s of pigeons which are considered invasive and a potential threat to the native bird species..

Soo Mr Fadnavis has empathy for birds? But that midnight murder of 1000s of trees in a forest called Aarey? 100s of animal species hurt & displaced but Mr Fadnavis din't stop then? Despite larger protests than at Dadar. & the protestors at Aarey were jailed unlike those at Dadar

What's happening in film city Aarey? Trees being buried under soil and Adivasi land in Aarey being encroached for whom ? Adivasis have also accused the film city bouncers of physical assault,no police action yet #SaveAareyForest

Mumbaikars,BMC ain't just digging the whole city,now they are upto DIG your graves. 60000 mangroves to be impacted for the further phase of Mumbai coastal road project. This while the city is soo humid & engulfed into thick layer of pollutants. Mangroves are the city's lifeline.

God save Maharashtra's forest from Fadnavis. This man is here to chop down all green spaces of Maharashtra. There's no day without a news of some eco sensitive area making way for saheb's projects.. Now 658 hectares of forests to be submerged for Gargai dam. Heatwaves what ?

Mumbai's air quality continues to deteriorate but govt determined to uplift those beloved poor marginalised industrialists and builders at the cost of ? Every other day we wake up & bid adieu to those last remaining green and open spaces.. But who cares ?
