What to do if the #FNA material is stuck in the needle hub? Safely recap the needle using the plastic cover, a rubber top tube, a rubber safety recapping device or simply an eraser. Then perform the needle flick technique as demonstrated here by @SaeedAsiry @MyCytopathology

"Nothing is outright specific in Cytomorphology" - Papillary thyroid CA (PTC) on FNA displaying the impressive so-called "Intracytoplasmic Colloid Inclusions" (ICI). ICI has been considered a marker for "Hurthle Cell Neoplasm" but I have seen them numerous times in PTCs.

Reserve cells are immature epithelial cells residing underneath the columnar pulmonary cells as depicted in this sketch by @SaeedAsiry. Reserve cell hyperplasia can mimick small cell carcinoma (hyperchromatic nuclei with molding), but the cells are very small with no necrosis.

I don't focus on the moon and the Steel Building in #Pittsburgh very often, but it sure worked out well last week. The moon appeared to be balancing on the corner of the building as it lit up the thin clouds around it, making for a fun and unique scene.
